Plinko — the ball and the multiplier pyramid
La bille tombe le long d’une pyramide de picots — plus elle atterrit loin du centre, plus le multiplicateur est élevé.
Plinko came to online casinos from TV shows: a ball drops onto a pyramid of pins, bounces chaotically downwards and lands in one of the multiplier slots. Central slots pay less than the stake, the outer ones up to x1000.
It is one of the most meditative casino games: the player makes no decisions during the round, but the risk settings are the most flexible in the genre.
Où jouer à Plinko
How to play
- Choose your stake, the number of pyramid rows (usually 8–16) and the risk level (low/medium/high).
- Drop the ball — physics and the random number generator do the rest.
- The multiplier of the slot the ball lands in is applied to your stake.
- Auto mode drops a series of balls in a row.
Risk settings
The risk level changes the payout table: on low the outer slots pay x5–x16 while the centre barely eats into the stake; on high the edges reach x1000, but central slots return only 0.2–0.5 of the bet.
More rows mean more slots and more extreme edges. The classic combination for multiplier hunters is 16 rows plus high risk; for a steady session, 8–12 rows with low or medium risk.
Fairness and RTP
In original versions (Spribe, BGaming, Stake Originals) the trajectory is driven by a Provably Fair generator and the RTP is around 99% — one of the highest figures in casino gaming.
High return does not make the game profitable though: the 1% house edge stays with you over the distance.
Avantages
- RTP around 99% — near the best in the industry
- Flexible risk and row settings
- Multipliers up to x1000
- Auto mode and demo mode
Inconvénients
- The player has zero influence on the round
- On high risk 90%+ of balls land in the losing centre
Questions fréquentes
What is the RTP of Plinko?
Around 99% in original versions by Spribe and BGaming. The exact figure is stated in the rules of each game.
Is x1000 realistic?
Yes, on maximum risk with 16 rows — but the odds of landing in the outermost slot are a fraction of a percent. Most balls land closer to the centre.
What settings should a beginner choose?
Eight to twelve rows with low or medium risk: the session will be long and smooth. High risk only makes sense if you accept long streaks of near-zero multipliers.
